Seth Meyers is my usual, and I can't even bear to look at the YouTube thumbnails at the moment.

I don't even know the results of local races, because I didn't want to check the news and see the results for POTUS and Senate, even though I already knew what those results were.
Okay, I just googled because I really did want to know, and almost everyone I voted for (straight Democratic ticket) was elected, other than POTUS and Sherrod Brown for Senate. And I really am glad so many Democrats were elected/re-elected in local positions, plus my district's U.S. House Representative (thank goodness). It's weird living in a blue corner of such a red state.
I was heartsick Over Sherrod. Scott and Cruz remain. It is ugly.
I love Sherrod.(in a very platonic, policy-driven way that still makes it hard for me to believe that everyone doesn't. Even though it took me a minute to fully catch on that he wasn't a black man named SherrOD and that he didn't just strain his voice once.) The disability community nationwide will miss him sorely. (same with Casey, even if BC and I didn't agree about "schmasmortion")
If I couldn't be here when Ted Cruz was voted out, at least I can leave him behind. I'm going to have two Dem senators, instead of Cornyn and the Zodiac Killer.
Ted Cruz is so ew.
I too have not watched any news or even opened the post or the times since Tuesday. I probably will soon but…I just don’t wanna see it all rehashed and everything.
Tried to be productive and go to Lowe’s to get stuff to fix my toilet but they didn’t have it. Grrr. (I have some weird off brand toilets that don’t fit the “fits 99% of toilets” repair kits). So I gave up on productive.
He only takes painkillers at night and he got sick at lunch both times.
Timelies all!
I got my first shingles shot today and my arm is sore. Next on the list is TDaP, and the second shingles shot.(which won't be for 2-6 months)
Mr. S is still in the hospital, and still getting disregulated on a regular basis. Meanwhile, we are busy filling in forms so he can be admitted to the residential treatment center on the 21st. Same one he was in last year. I feel sad and guilty that it has come to this, but nothing we do has been helping.
It must be so hard, Sheryl, but as hard as it is on you and Gary it is best for Mr. S to be where he can be helped. Hugs.

When I had bunion surgery it took 5 tries to get a painkiller I could tolerate. Surgery sucks! Why anyone does it unless required is beyond me!
