It must be so hard, Sheryl, but as hard as it is on you and Gary it is best for Mr. S to be where he can be helped. Hugs.
He only takes painkillers at night and he got sick at lunch both times.
When I had bunion surgery it took 5 tries to get a painkiller I could tolerate. Surgery sucks! Why anyone does it unless required is beyond me!
Steph, that is good news! (Except about Sherrod) Here in San Antonio we kept our Democratic county sheriff, who's been working to make things better, with only some success.
There was a piece on 60 minutes tonight about the election and they interviewed a Pennsylvania diner owner and an Hispanic barber, and both of them said they voted for Trump because of the cost of living. Which made me think of an NYT piece I read about people thinking this is a normal election. So I hope they kept those people's names so they can go back after 5 years of fascist bullshit and ask them how they feel now.
I wish I could have gotten it across to them that a "tariff" is just another name for a tax, and it's a sneaky way of claiming that you're not raising taxes.

I've had antibiotics make me pukey.
I won't say "looking at lineoleum makes me vomit," but my body doesn't need a hell of a lot of inducement.
Some of those GOP Latinx are going to be sweaty from working out or doing stuff in their yards and they are gonna get deported. Nobody is gonna cry moar, either. Just like when a libertarian gets hurt and finds out what disability access in America is really like. They hate that shit.(yes, I would help them. Will I like that part? Hell no.)
Wrod, theo.
Sounds good, Chris.
I am late and slow this day, but at last have arrived to announce that today is a day to celebrate Jessica's birthday!! I hope you have been spoiled today and that this year is a very good year.
(Thank you but my birthday is tomorrow!)
You are right!! Good grief, I can't brain at all. I saw it on my calendar and didn't notice that I wasn't looking at today. Have any fun plans?
I’m glad that a number of lower level races are going our way. NC voted Dems for governor and attorney general, and the state congress lost their super majority, so a veto matters again. But I’ll be glad to move to the land of Big Gretch.
I submitted a rental application as soon as I got home yesterday. Now I’m waiting to see if it’s accepted. No reason it shouldn’t be, but I can’t confirm movers and get the utilities going until I have a contract. If it is accepted soon I could move as soon as the 23rd. My sister is already making Thanksgiving day plans for me.
