Thrive to spite them

I don't think we had any trick or treaters before I got home I know we didn't after. I mean out light was off so not really inviting any to knock on the door but we aren't in a great spot.

Once again Female Cousin was at the house (she stops by on her way home from work) and I was sharing with her something and she said she is only voting abot the economy and so she is voting for Trump. I found an article that explained why it was bad and read part of it to her . It said 16 Noble Prize winning economists (among others ) say Trump's plan is bad for the economy and why. She then pivoted to " Trump is really smart . He has a high IQ. People say he's dumb but he isn't " At this point I was running late for work and ended the conversation. I don't know if she's bored but nothing will convince her to not vote for Trump. I even told her Harris and Biden weren't my first choices but based on the election I voted for him and now her.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Should have known it wouldn’t be that easyto get a new id badge for work. Turns out that when your badge is stolen you have to report it to your AO, and then they will sponsor you to get another one. Then you need to make appointments to get fingerprinted and issued a new badge. However, one needs two forms of id, from a very specific list. I have now requested a new copy of my social security card and am in the process of getting a copy of my birth certificate. Who knows how long that will take…

I need some health~ma/go to the doctor! vibes sent M's way. He thought he had an ingrown hair, it's not but he has made a wound there and is adamant that he doesn't need to see a doctor and it will be fine. He thinks I'm over reacting to it (and to the mole I think is suspicious on his back). I've promised I won't say anything more about either today but...just health~ma that the wound will heal or he will stop being stubborn and have it looked at.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I got my annual Covid shot yesterday. For the first time ever I am having a reaction. Slight, but still disconcerting. An incipient headache, a slight fever (99.0F), slight body aches, aches in my hands and fingers, soreness at the injection site, and a little light-headedness.

Unexpected. Oh, well.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

We had a COVID shot clinic at work on the 30th. Everyone's shoulders were sore on Halloween. Mine still is a smidge

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

My household finally got down to Kaiser again after the line was too long a few weeks ago. I got Novavax for the first time. Everybody seems to be doing ok, i.e. no more tired than usual. And we all got flu shots, as well.

All in all, an unreasonable amount of adulting for a Saturday morning.

I totally forgot when I went to bed last night that it was time change night! I was very confused when I woke up early and looked at the clock vs my watch (which changed automatically)
