"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And I. Got. The. Job.

Fantastic! I think this is going to be such a good change for you.

I have adulted!

I did a MFing Wire Transfer to pay off the venue!

(I got flummoxed briefly in exactly the same way I did the last time I did this. I cut and pasted the account number and routing number of the recipient from their email and my credit union said "These are not legitimate numbers!" But then I realized when I cut and pasted I accidentally picked up an extra blank space and that was the issue.)

And I also got them to raise the daily debit amount on my card so I can pay off the caterer.

Also, BiL Lukas has been connected with the AV Production team and the Livestream is all ready to go.

I will share a link as soon as I have one, but like the Funeral, it will be YouTube live and then the video will live on that channel so anybody can watch it later if they prefer.

It's a four hour event but the first hour will be people arriving and eating, so I don't think we'll be getting to the storytelling until 1pm PST (5/18). But I'll ask Lukas to turn the camera on the crowd and maybe people can just go up to the camera and wave to the viewers at home.

Also, (I'll put this in announcements too) there are some people who won't be in attendance or don't feel comfortable speaking publicly who have given me their stories about Jacqueline to read.

So I invite anybody who isn't coming to send me a story that they want to share. Something in the 2 to 5 paragraph range would be ideal.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Something weird is happening in the universe. A guy has flirted with me in public for the second time this month. This is roughly the equivalent of the number of men who have flirted with me in my entire life up until this point.

I checked your horoscope and you're super hot this month. Flaunt it!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Whoo, smonster! That is wonderful news.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I checked your horoscope and you're super hot this month. Flaunt it!

Hah!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yay, smonster! Congrats!

In the last couple of days I've planted two hydrangea shrubs and four clusters of liatris spicata in front of my house. We'll see if any of them are hardy enough to survive my care. The nandina I planted last fall seems to have turned a corner and started to thrive, but it's apparently as resilient as ornamental shrubs come.
