Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We watched the entirety of the 60s Addams Family as a family and ltc loved it. There was surprisingly few instances of racism or sexism for a show made in the 60s that required any kind of explanation.

Our wings are not tired.

But I had a really good time nonetheless with new friends and old.

Sorry about the lack of making out, but good times are a good thing.

Here's what I didn't put as answers in that damn form:

Ha! Looks about accurate.

I couldn't get into Wednesday. I don't have Netflix right now but I will try it again sometime.

Sorry to say, same. I'll try it again sometime, but I thought it was overdone.

Also, my dog rolled in something yesterday,

Why, oh why, do they have to drop on their backs when encountering the worst smelling gunk ever?

60s Addams Family was the bestest.

Overwhelmed here with sister's knee recovery (doing great), DH leaving tonight at 2:30 AM because we have to drive to Albany 2 hours away, work because my son still thinks it is better to call me than figure shit out. And more.

That sounds like a LOT, Laura. Sending some kinda useful vibes your way.

Also loved 60s Addams Family. The only other version I saw was the movie with Raul and Angelica, which, if you're going to remake it, excellent choices.

Ha! I haven't seen it either, -t, but now I'm picturing the same.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Saturday afternoon, after we picked Mr. S up from the nanny's(he had stayed with her while Gary and I attended services) he had another epic meltdown, trashed our bathroom(including pulling down one of the towel racks) and ended up in the ER, again. He wouldn't/couldn't settle down and he is being transferred to an inpatient behavioral unit, again. sigh....

Our wings are not tired.

You and Gary must be so exhausted. I'm sorry, Sheryl.

I’m sorry, Sheryl.

I really like Wednesday. I’m looking forward to S2.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My furnace, which controls heat AND hot water, won't turn on. This is super-annoying, since it's been cool the past weekend, and it's going down to 39F tonight. I have a space heater which is adequate for my tiny study and an electric blanket for bed.

And I can go shower at the YMCA on a guest pass for $15, so there's that. I wasn't going to pay holiday prices for a plumber on the weekend, so it will be a whole process in the next week.

Unless the furnace deigns to start working again, which it did a couple months ago. I've tried all the things I could think of that might have made a difference then -- reset buttons (on both thermostat and furnace). So annoying, and potentially quite expensive.
