Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Our wings are not tired.

I went out to see the lights, but it was too cloudy. Maybe I'll try later if I am awake after the moon sets. It is supposed to be a good night to see them Saturday too.

Wow! A neighbor posted that the clouds had cleared and get out there right now. I posted a bunch of pictures. Amazing. I haven't seen them since I was a kid.

Ugh I tried to go see the lights—grabbed a friend, went to the beach, stayed up past my bedtime, but no dice. Multiple people were there with cameras, we were not the only ones with that idea, but after about 30-45 minutes of cold and nothing we gave up. So jealous of all the amazing photos people got and yet somehow while being way north of most of them, nothing.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Important lunch announcement: polenta with meatballs and red sauce is pretty good. Polenta with meatballs, red sauce, AND sun-dried tomatoes is next-level good. Yum!

We were able to see them from our backyard. They weren't real strong though.

Been doing a round of corporate training today after just doing a round a couple weeks ago. This time is is privacy and the last one was ethics. It did get me thinking what like a Weyland-Yutani ethics training must be like.

You have been informed that the wreck of a starship of unknown origin has been discovered near the site of a company colony. However, it has also been discovered that the starship contains exceptionally lethal biological organisms. What action should you take?

A. Notify government authorities and provide full details of the potential danger, while warning colonists of the danger and instructing them to avoid the site.

B. Warn colonists of the danger and instruct them to avoid the site until a team of company specialists can be dispatched to handle the situation.

C. Instruct colonists to investigate the site, but give them full details of the potential danger and advise extreme caution.

D. Instruct colonists to investigate the site without providing any warning of the potential danger.

A.

That answer is incorrect. Also, you are fired.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

If only that were not so close to many actual corporations right now.

RIGHT??? I saw pictures from within a drive of us, but did we see squat when we went in search? No.

Man, people all over the greater Cincinnati area posted amazing pictures of the aurora borealis, but we are just too close to Downtown's light pollution to really get much. And we just weren't up for driving around.
