Excellent news, Matt!
Fly free, Tepalina! Quaff coffee in a chair in the sky!
Nice! I went to Harvey Mudd, took some good classes at Pomona and Pitzer that I think about to this day.
I didn't know that! New resource.
I didn't watch the debate. I stepped into the room it was on in when Trump said something about it being legal to execute newborns in Minnesota and just said "Nope" and left. After hearing about it, it sounds as if Harris put out a bunch of rakes and Trump was like Sideshow Bob.
I've watched almost all the debates over the years and have never enjoyed one so much. She even looked like she was having the time of her life. Still smiling here about it all.

Accurate! Though she also made a very impassioned plea on abortion rights that was effective.
Phew! I have jumped almost through all the hoops for Matilda's Expedited Passport.
I just have to pick up one more form this afternoon, and then I have to take her with me to Sausalito Post Office tomorrow morning for an Official Passport Agent to verify that she exists and is my daughter.
Then drop off the forms in person and all should be in order.
It was very helpful to have Emily coming by today to assist.
It was very UNhelpful for Matilda to put her extra large coffee on the tiny sliver of coffee table behind my laptop while we were both working feverishly because when I adjusted my screen backwards I knocked it off all over the floor.
Pretty sure I was taken off the list for Parent of the Week when I yelled, "That's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever seen! Why the fuck would you put your coffee down behind my laptop while we're working!"
Anyway....was able to drag them both to FedEx to collect more paperwork, have her sign on the spot, and scan it, then drop her off to get a new coffee and get her back in time for her Zoom therapy call, where she can talk about how her dad is an asshole.

Wow, this Laura Loomer is a piece of work. It makes me love my sane friends even more.
I visited Breckenridge years ago with some cousins. It’s a lovely ski town—I hope you have fun, Steph.
My classroom has a chair now! And it's a pretty good chair, too. I do have to be careful not to trip over the cord that's used to chain it to the desk, though.
It does sound like securing it was a good plan. I'm happy to hear it finally happened.
