Smooth travels, and have a fabulous time!

I'm about to go in to have the front tag mounted on the car while I wait. Then a long work day and my once monthly therapy session tonight. I should eat first.

If I hadn't forgotten I was boiling eggs in the stove yesterday, I'd have hard boiled eggs to eat. Instead, I have a pot to clean before I try again... with an Alexa reminder this time.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

No waffle bar, but there is wifi. And coffee.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray for the correct gate. Sorry about the waffles.

I got a notice on my phone that there was an earthquake near Malibu, I hope it isn't too bad. The fire is plenty for southern california to be dealing with. Incidentally, I would like to report that every single time I get an earthquake notification I am earwormed with REM

The worst! I haven't had the issue since I started using the instant pot. Which reminds me that I should make deviled eggs!

I'm happy to report that my mom's surgery went smoothly, though the online patient documentation doesn't confirm that anything was removed. (This has sent her into a spiral of dread about having to go in for chemo, and I've told her to wait until her follow-up appointment before making assumptions since her surgeon didn't mention anything unexpected to me.)

I just saw a new schedule that doesn't appear to rule out the vacation I've planned on taking in late October. Fingers crossed that our client doesn't have any delays or requests that interfere between now and then.

I keep meaning to try that. Looks like now is the time!

That's sounding promising, Matt, on both fronts.

Good news, Matt!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Excellent news, Matt!

Fly free, Tepalina! Quaff coffee in a chair in the sky!

Nice! I went to Harvey Mudd, took some good classes at Pomona and Pitzer that I think about to this day.

I didn't know that! New resource.

Coding and Sleeping

I didn't watch the debate. I stepped into the room it was on in when Trump said something about it being legal to execute newborns in Minnesota and just said "Nope" and left. After hearing about it, it sounds as if Harris put out a bunch of rakes and Trump was like Sideshow Bob.
