Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

trying hard to duck (say) Rita Moreno's phone calls.

Yeah, she's another one I'm not ready for. That "Heyyyyy you guyyyyyyys" from The Electric Company is literally one of my first childhood memories.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, The Electric Company was amazing

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

The literal first one that I'm sure wasn't my being told over and over was Archie and Edith singing--they weren't good, and they sort of remind me of my dad's parents. And, yeah, I watched a lot of EC. Death may be my gift, but I don't have some inside info about Ms. Moreno(she was SO good on the "One Day" reboot!)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bring back the old fashioned lever machines and more people will enjoy voting. (ka-CHUNK!)

When I was a kid, my dad used to bring me with him to vote, and those machines fascinated me. I was so disappointed when they didn't have them by the time I was old enough to vote.

ION, it's now week three of classes, and my classroom still doesn't have that chair.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think MA already had scantron by the time I was old enough to vote, but luckily I was in PA where they had the good machines! Despite how satisfying the ka-chunk is, I do think the paper ballots are the best.

This. Though I agree that hand-marked paper ballots are best, at least from a voter fraud perspective.

That's right, no one even mentioned clafoutis and I'm here. Hi, everyone!

I guess I'm here to spread more anecdotal positivity. Just got off the phone with my college roommate and her husband. He stated he is definitely voting for Harris as are many of his friends and colleagues. A lot of "What is even going on with this party anymore?" kind of talk happening. That is definitely a change. He's never been a fan of Trump but I'm pretty sure he's never voted Dem before. As some of you know, most of my friends from college are conservative (well, "old-school" Republicans anyways), including his college roommate (and my former friend), who worked in Trump's WH. They live in Washington so their vote doesn't particularly matter but I found the way he talked about it very encouraging.

Ha! And also hi! And that does sound likes good sign.

I came home almost in time to watch the debate, turned it on for a few minutes and remembered that at the best of times it’s not a format I enjoy so that I’ll just listen to the end of The House in the Cerulean Sea and flit through social media for commentary

I accidentally came to my neighborhood diner for food after the concert and the debate is on. Argh.
