"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am also not sleeping.

Coding and Sleeping

This weekend I mowed and trimmed, took the dogs for a couple of two-mile walks, did a couple loads of laundry (and put them away), went to the grocery store, cleaned the interior of my wife's car, and did the usual cooking.

Did a two-mile walk with the dogs this morning before work and arranged to have our water heater replaced which died this weekend. Oh, also sucked up some water from the basement the weekend.

Has anybody seen a Harris sign yet? When walking the dogs I just see a bunch of Trump signs, flags, and banners.

Punishingly Intricate

I think we’re all waiting for the cool artists to make their versions of Harris Walls signs to put them up.

Thrive to spite them

Trump managed to really piss off Swifties. He was posting AI garbage that made it seem like Taylor Swift supports Trump. And while I'm sure there are some fans who do support Trump Taylor Swift has never endorsed anyone and the majority of the Swifties (I assume) do not support him.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

When I was in Canada last month, the house at the top of the hill across the street from my cottage had a Trump 2024 flag on the garage (next to a Trump 2020 flag, and the other outside wall was plastered in signs that read "Trudeau is a disgrace" so we were all pretty confused about what country this guy was registered to vote in).

I don't think I've seen any presidential candidate signs in my neighborhood, it's only local candidates so far.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

A house around the corner had a Kennedy sign as early as July 4th, but I'm pretty sure it's been taken down since then. Must be the brain worms. Or the dead bear cub.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A friend was just sharing photos of people with signs for Kennedy in western MA this weekend, which, OK.

Our wings are not tired.

Not a lot of signs up here, just old Trump ones and local candidates. Blue flamingos are popping up all over Florida.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The other day, we ended up near a bunch of cars with giant Trump flags and something about Jesus. One dude had half a cardboard cutout above his windshield. These people are not well.

There is one Kennedy sign in our town, but they also used to have a DeSantis 2028 sign so I don't think that Kennedy vote is taking away anything from the dems.
