"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The other day, we ended up near a bunch of cars with giant Trump flags and something about Jesus. One dude had half a cardboard cutout above his windshield. These people are not well.

There is one Kennedy sign in our town, but they also used to have a DeSantis 2028 sign so I don't think that Kennedy vote is taking away anything from the dems.

No signs around here -- even local, which I do recall seeing a bunch of previously. Our next door neighbor had a Trump sign last go-round but nothing now. Our new neighbors just moved in, and they are a nice, young couple in whose yard I would not expect to see a Trump sign.

When it became obvious that Kennedy was taking more votes away from TFG than Harris (and also that he was a bozo), Kennedy's right-wing bankrollers have moved on to pushing Jill Stein.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I did notice when I was at the beach a couple of weeks ago that there were many fewer Trump signs than last year, even. Maybe I just missed the truck with the huge FUCK JOE BIDEN flag, but I'm hopeful he actually took it down.

There's at least one "Trump/Pence" sign here. Someone's living in a time warp.

I’m v glad to live in a liberal bubble and a solidly blue state so there’s not much of any signs or commercials or anything! I was in Colorado the other week and was like “oh right…”

I went camping Saturday and it was really nice until about 10pm when the thunderstorms started. And my tent turned out to be in a low lying spot and was in a lake of water. So I slept in the backseat of my car. It wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been—the sleeping mat helped the backseat be more comfy/a bit of cushion on the door part, and the tent actually kept everything dry until I got in and realized the issue. But it was an uncomfortable night. I would’ve just driven home (it was only about an hour away) but didn’t want to try to take the tent down in the dark and pouring rain.

But also, how come yesterday I was tired but mostly ok all day (I’d planned to take a nap but didn’t, and instead went to the grocery store and dried and packed the tent up et ) but today even though I slept solidly last night I felt like crap??

Fingers crossed work will be chill today.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Has anybody seen a Harris sign yet?

One in my neighborhood, homemade in Brat green.

But every district in San Francisco is about 92%+ Dem and the others are generally Green or Independent. Certainly there are Republicans and Libertarians scattered about but not in any numbers.

SF already bequeathed Pelosi, Kamala and Gavin Newsom to the scene.

Anyway, you know all this. I'm just reiterating why I live here.

Love my progressive neighborhood, stressed about my purple state. I'm glad that the only thing I watch on network TV are Bengals games, so I'll only have to endure political commercials during the September and October games. Which is bad enough.
