Seriously. My sheets remain unfolded as does a hamper full of clean clothes from before the weekend. Ahem.

My mother always puts stuff away, but then when she dressed as Wonder Woman for Halloween when I was a kid, I wasn't totally sure it was a costume. (Sometimes I feel weird mixture about all the stuff disability...kind of gets me off the hook for. Because, when I'm missing stuff, it sure as hell isn't laundry...well, except for the one place I lived in college where it became kind of a flashpoint for the attendants and then people put underwear in my hamper with, well...never mind. But there have been times I wanted to handle it myself, I suppose.) But I can't ever even say stuff like that, or that I'm glad that I have time to write or for political activity, without seeming like I Think The World Owes Me A Living(Does it make anyone feel better that I think it owes you one, too? Sometimes.)

It is known that putting the laundry away is by far the hardest hill to climb among any household chore.

Putting all the clean, folded laundry away is the dream, man.

We had to put our cat, Luna, to sleep last night. She was 17, and had a lot of medical problems, but it’s still hard for all of us. We were all with her until the end.
