we just did not make any eye contact at all so no interaction was needed.
That saved you a trip to HR.
Bullet dodged!
Forgot to say, sorry about the bad Sunday, Gud. It sounds like you got a lot done, though.
Work is worky. I enjoyed spending some time with smonster and I got some summer travels settled (visiting my niece and her family in their new place).
In teenage angst news, Dillo had his wisdom teeth out last Friday, took AP Chemistry Monday, is taking AP English as we speak (3 40-minute essays!!) and has a crisis brewing in ceramics, as the kiln fires tomorrow and he is not finished, thanks to the things listed above.
But as far as I know he has no ongoing bathroom beef issues.
My normally over-responsible 16 year-old left his keys & ID at school yesterday after his AP Stats exam, and then forgot to go to his driver's ed lecture in the evening. He felt terrible about both and as recompense, woke up early and made everybody pancakes for breakfast! (He was already forgiven, and he can make up the driver's ed class tonight, but hey, pancakes!)
I endorse pancakes as a coping method.
Sorry about the teenage angst all round.
I would not want to be a teenager again for anything. Yuck.
Other things I don’t want to do: swallow (it hurts), my job (it’s boring), the workout I h e later. Boo Wednesdays are the worst. Not yet close to the weekend.

I'm familiar with that stressor! The one good thing about the abrupt end of the baseball season is that Matilda is catching up with her ceramics.
A whole cohort of Buffista babies are nearing the end of high school!
It's ten days to the Memorial and I have many little tasks to address yet.
New research shows that even a little bit of olive oil a day has a huge benefit in reducing the risk of dementia: [link]
This post brought to you by the broccoli I just made in the microwave with olive oil, salt and Spanish Paprika, topped with parm. Also reheated some chicken thighs with it.
Lean protein and green cruciferous vegetables, now with a spoonful of olive oil.
I'm going to live forever!
I'll probably need some apple cider vinegar, live culture probiotic yogurt, ginger, garlic, local honey and turmeric though.
What's the one health-foodie thing you eat/consume that you really believe in?
