Yay dogs.
Y’all am I losing my mind?? I keep losing things. First it was my little travel bag I kept plugs and chargers in. Not a huge deal but a little annoying. Several of the chargers had been taken out of it, so the only one I really need to replace is the Apple Watch charger. Then I lost my makeup bag. Ok, I had it for the dance weekend, and took it to the hotel, maybe I left it there and it never showed up at lost and found. Bummer. Then I realized that I couldn’t find two of the hair things my sister gave me for Christmas. Maybe I put them away somewhere that is not the first five places I looked? Maybe. But then tonight I wanted to wear a sweater I own…and it is nowhere to be found. Nowhere! What did I do with that sweater?? Why can I not find things??
I hope you get past the COVID quickly, Shir.
Looking forward to smonster’s visit next week!
meara, is your whole travel bag sitting somewhere still full?
No fever continues to be no fever. Other than congestion (which is partially related to seasonal allergies - I get to relive spring here), I'm doing OK. In a few hours I'll complete the 24 hours without fever, and take it easy and mask everywhere in the next week. I understood that it might be a while until I'll test negative - depends on the varient I got and the test in itself - but I will continue to mask for the time being and especially around those in high risk even if I'm negative.
Jesse I have definitely gone through all the bags I have repeatedly, looking for the travel bag and the makeup!
Sorry that Covid was a stowaway on your welcome wagon, Shir. Here's hoping it doesn't disrupt your plans too much.
I've booked the room for my first vacation in a year and a half, a couple nights at the Crescent Hotel in late May. Hopefully the ghosts won't be too noisy. [link]
smonster--thanks to Mychart I can check and see the results. They are all in and everything looks like it's in the normal level so it's not any of that. But I'm glad I got the blood work done first. So I guess once the dr reviews it he'll have me start on a higher dose of Lexapro and I'll see what happens.
I'm still thinking it might be tied to my hormone levels because I thought my period started and realized I was having my regular a few days before it starts PMS symptoms (or regular since I figured out since I tracked my period and was able to pinpoint what it was) but it hasn't started so not sure what is going on there.
Steph--I have had double ear infections and they suck. Warm compresses felt really nice. I hope you get better soon.
Hey guys. Thought I should drop by for the new thread.
Shir, good to hear you made it to the States - sorry about the unwelcome guest. Hope you have as good a time as you can.
Nilly, if you happen to skip and land on this, know that I join everyone who's wishing good things for you and yours.
I won't make the memorial, but I promise to pour something out for JZ.
So hugely disappointing news for Matilda.
Three of the boys on her baseball team failed to make grades, and can't play the remaining four games of the season. That puts the team down to 8 players and they have to forfeit the end of the season. Which also means she doesn't get Senior Night where they honor graduating seniors.
It's just a horrible shitty ending to a very good season for her.
Oh no! That’s such a shame.
