So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I am so bored with my cause of the plague, OMG.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

As a kid, 'boring' is the worse thing ever. As an adult, you've had enough exciting things that 'boring' gets a lot more desirable.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

This year more than ever.

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

True dat.

I think some of it may be an age-related change in attitude to sleep. When I was little I often fought sleep with every fibre of my being. As a middle-aged adult, any time with nothing to do is time I can nap!

Our wings are not tired.

Tested yesterday, just a cold to punish me for not masking on my flight, still just as boring as Covid, but good to see one line.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

I'm just going to sit here and cry for a minute.

(Coming of age in Utah during the beginning of the AIDS epidemic was a personally historic event - a lot of the queer kids on campus hung out with the weirdos in the science fiction club. The irony of this being announced on Pioneer Day is not lost on me.)

With you. Steve died in 1987, long before there was any hope. I really hoped they would get here a lot sooner. This can wipe it out completely.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

100% effective! That is amazing!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Wow, that’s great news. I’m sorry for those of you who lost people to that horrible disease.
