If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Popping in to vent a little if you’ll indulge me. I’m out seeing Common. Common! For free! And I’m with some of my closest friends, who I love dearly. But we are also on day 2 of going out and they are all the type to get grumpy and bitchy when things aren’t exactly according to plan and I don’t know if I have enough wine to deal with this bullshit. It’s a beautiful Saturday night. Shake it the fuck off. Yes we were late. Yes we had to wait in a line. Where the fuck else do you have to be right now?

Anyhoo. J-HUD is about to come out (unannounced - nobody knows but my sis is staff) and this crowd is going to lose their absolute shit and I cannot wait.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh, I'm glad my life is filled with Roll With It And Adapt types.

Tell your Diva Posses to write a letter to the manager.

Our wings are not tired.

First, awesome to have a blast on a Saturday night! But I do so understand the exhaustion of dealing with complainers. It seems to be an epidemic. As a lifelong "Roll With It And Apapt" type it is tough to roll with. Two of the local area FB groups that I follow for events and deals seem to be 90% complain about your neighbors posts. My sister nonstop complains about her DIL. I sincerely make an effort to keep negativity out of my life, but complete avoidance isn't an option.

I know I have mentioned it before, but a dear friend by habit always complained about everything when we went out. Service/Food/Patrons. I adopted a habit of telling her in advance that going out to dinner was supposed to be relaxing and that everything was going to be perfect, no matter what! She adapted and learned to let it go, at least around me.

BUT once again M is going to not only have dinner wai+ting for me but a bath for after dinner relaxing. Because he is made of awesome.

Ahh, I am relaxed just reading this. Good job, M.

Oh! Let me complain about something! Grammarly wants to underline way too much of my casual posts. Let it go, Grammarly. Go with the flow. (Okay, I appreciate the help on more formal stuff like work. Even though the emails I get from doctors and managers are cringe-worthy.)

Back north and into the morning gym routine. Whee! Okay, more coffee first.

A thousand times this. I don't think people realize how much that energy impacts people around them.

Well holy fucking shit. I didn't expect Biden to step down so soon, if at all.

I wonder if he’ll throw his support to Harris. I think she could really energize the get-out-the-vote movement in so many demographics (women, of course; and POC, including South Asians as well as Black people; and hopefully younger people).

I think he could serve another 4 years quite competently. But I also see how he won’t be competitive enough against Trump this time around, even though he was last time.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And the Democrats have no presidential nominee now. I don’t see how this could go poorly at all.

Still, literally no candidate is better than Trump.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

They better get behind Harris right fucking now.
