Mal: Well said. Wasn't that well said, Zoe? Zoe: Had a kind poetry to it, sir.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I feel like I should become a fan of the Valkyries, I like their uniforms and their mascot and, hey, championship win! But I've never followed basketball so it would be a steep learning curve. I don't even know when the season runs.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

Salon Magazine is shutting down. The progenitor of the Buffistas.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

Aw, man. That's sad.

That is really really sad.

Utah broke the state GOP super majority as well.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Super sad. Though it hadn't been its best, award-winning self for some time. Also, I wanted to be in it and they turned down two or three of my pitches.(Which totally makes me sound like a dangerous wannabe with a scanner in my garage, but they were nice enough and it was long enough ago that "There's *something* here...maybe sometime," was more encouraging and less "God...again?!" than it is now.)

Buffistas Salon days were before my time, it was never my place, but it's still sad. Zeitgeist getting more geisty.

I hope it's helpful, askye!

I remember it, I found Salon through a column run in the paper by Anne Lamott and it had info about Salon (I think maybe it was originally published there?) and I went to Salon, saw the Table Talk, joined and started reading all the different threads and found the Buffy thread .
