I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Buffistas Salon days were before my time, it was never my place, but it's still sad. Zeitgeist getting more geisty.

I hope it's helpful, askye!

Thrive to spite them

I remember it, I found Salon through a column run in the paper by Anne Lamott and it had info about Salon (I think maybe it was originally published there?) and I went to Salon, saw the Table Talk, joined and started reading all the different threads and found the Buffy thread .

Hi back Jen.

Salon is sad if just for the memories. ahhh the mid/late 90s. internet heyday.

I am still just PUMPED about the election.

Also? I got mermaid hair tonight, teal, pink and purple mixed in my natural dark brown. I love it. I haven’t had color for almost 7 years. pic on bluesky

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

Yesssss! I hope it helps you as much as it's helped me! My hot flashes, which were pretty fucking bad, were gone in a week or less. And the progesterone seems like it's helping with my sleep. I can't really tell if the testosterone is helping, although I guess it might allow me to enlist in Pete Hegseth's military.

mac is well. taking a half load at community college and door dashing. still not a lot of ambition and drive, but also not causing any trouble and showing more responsibility every year.

sorry about the new hip delay. I have a friend here who had to loose weight to get cleared for her hip replacement. she did that and then was told, they are not even scheduling any new surgeries until Jan because they are so booked out. She is on Kaiser and here in MD their drs are just very limited.

The ortho said he would like to see me lose about 10 more pounds (and I'm fine with that), but his bigger concern is my cervical spine healing. I just want everything to happen on my timeline, dang it. Too bad I'm not queen of the world.
