I hear you on the French, Plei, but they have to be better than Le Pen.
Yes, absolutely! Sadly, not as much better for French Jews as one might think, but better for the rest of France for sure.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Cereal! A link to summarize the "Man, France, am I right?" of it. [link]
A drive by this morning to wish my cousin a Happy Birthday! I am forgetting what she calls herself here, but she knows who she is!
Dana, I know it's a year away, but I think you need to put this in your "places to try in Richmond" file: [link]
Also, it's beastly out there.
I have one more workday to get shit done before NASCAR. Wish me luck!
oooh, thanks Jen. Saved.
I had to be up stupid early for a meeting with some of our folks in the UK, and I can't even go back to bed afterward because I have ANOTHER early meeting. This is one of the downsides to being a manager.

Hippocampus! And yes, busy girl isn't seen often but we certainly hope she is having an awesome birthday.
Yay birthday
Early meetings are terrible. I am supposed to start work and call in to a meeting in 3 minutes. I don’t wanna. I slept on my couch last night because I only have one A/C unit, in my living room.
I didn't run yesterday and barely got out of the house.
I felt a bit guilty about posting my lowest step count of the year, so I woke up at 7 and got out running before 8.
Very foggy morning for a run but I didn't mind that.
Sometimes it's good to roll over and go back to sleep.
But sometimes it feels better to get up and get out the door early.
I managed to get my steps yesterday—walked the dog to and from daycare (much more pleasant in the morning) and went dancing. When I showed up to dancing I was like “it’s surprisingly not as hot in here as I feared!” But by the time I left, even though I think it was still 85 out, it felt like a cool breeze after the sweltering sauna our dance space had become!
