Our wings are not tired.

I had many vivid dreams last night, and at least one had a Buffista sighting, well almost anyway. Since I'm in NY for the summer, I arranged to meet up with Sophia Brooks because we are 1000 miles closer than usual. For reasons unknown, I went to a hotel lobby where she left a laptop at the front desk because she had to be elsewhere, and she left a message to contact her to coordinate. My phone was lost, and I was lost, and the laptop was a Mac, which I couldn't figure out how to use. So I couldn't reach her to figure out where she was. Eventually, a nice person at a bus stop lent me their phone, and I reached her, but by then it was late, and I had to find my car and get home.

When I woke up, I was annoyed with myself for not being able to figure out the laptop! I may primarily be a Windows girl, but I am quite well acquainted with several operating systems; thank you very much, brain.

Thrive to spite them

I swear Emmett is still both Darth Tigger and just holding baby Matilda.

I have been having really strange dreams for months. Some unsettling.

I still haven't gotten my blood work done for HRT. The lab at my drs office was closed and I just didn't have the mental energy to figure out where else to go. Last week I didn't want to get out of bed for 2 days. I need to get this done.

I've also been a terrible aunt and never sent E a birthday present. I just couldnt find something I think he would love and I've barely talked to him.

Next week Dad is coming up to help Mom pack and unpack for her move. M and I are going over Mon and Tuesday since I have those days off and help pack. She mives Thursday so I won't be able to help with the unpack.

Emmett turns 30 tomorrow, which means you have been watching him grow up for a long time. Matilda turns 20 on Saturday.

I still haven't accepted that Tickybox is 21, so I refuse to believe any of that about Emmett and Matilda.

ION, I just vibe coded a whole interactive page of tools for my team. On the one hand, look at me, fulfilling expectations for my job level! On the other hand, ugh, vibe coding, I feel gross.

How are you feeling, Atropa? Back behaving any better?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

On the one hand, look at me, fulfilling expectations for my job level! On the other hand, ugh, vibe coding, I feel gross.

This is me all day every day. I might hate the term vibe coding even more than I hate doing it.

Mostly. And I have an appointment with my pcp today to discuss the exciting new migraine symptoms that sent me to the ER; hopefully I get a recommendation for a migraine specialist.

Yeah, not being in agonizing pain would help with the whole fulfilling job expectations too.

Where do you come from? Where do you go? What is your scene, baby? We just gotta know.

Hoo boy, JD Vance is achieving *EPIC* levels of dumbass. It’s pretty amazing to see.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Unrelatedly - I have run out of usable brain for today and decided what I want for dinner (did I use up my last working neurons think about what to eat for my next meal? Maybe!) but I'm supposed to work for the next hour and a half. Woes.
