Unrelatedly - I have run out of usable brain for today and decided what I want for dinner (did I use up my last working neurons think about what to eat for my next meal? Maybe!) but I'm supposed to work for the next hour and a half. Woes.

I had to go to the office yesterday to pick up a newer shredder and have my three month evaluation. My manager is pretty happy with me, so I feel a bit more comfortable updating LinkedIn and whatnot. The drive is 1.5 hours each way, and having to be social and on for dozens strangers for 8 hours was pretty draining. They all seem quite nice, but it’s a lot. On the upside, it was the monthly birthday celebration, so there was cake. On the downside, cake turned into networking? With people discussing golf? One of the auditors is a bit of a silver fox, though, and he sent me a teams message with a grammatical question later, so I guess I made a good impression.
