My cervical spine surgery is scheduled for September 14. And that's actually great, because we have a trip to the beach planned for the second week of November, and I should be recovered plenty by that point to go sit on a deck and read.
Now I have to obsessively plan.

I'm reading a book that keeps referring to something called "the Vastness" and for some reason every time it's mentioned I hear it being said in Effie Mucklewain's voice.
