Verdict: This loaf is VERY dense, but still tasty and perfectly edible with a little toasting.
(And I had not until this very moment connected the ironic dots that Faith the Vampire Slayer was defeated by too much garlic. That's not how that's supposed to work, narrative!)
Oh noooo Dolly Parton died!! Whyyyyy couldn’t it have been someone worse? (Not suggesting anyone in particular, should the FBI be asking)
aw... I wish she had been the splashy celeb that ran for President.
I just saw that too, what a loss for the whole world.
I know!!! There are so many henious people out there and Dolly is gone.
I got my new glasses. Posted on FB.
I had misplaced my regular ones so have been wearing my really old ones and it is a huge difference and I can't tell if there are actually issues or it's just my eyes freaking out.
I CAN see my phone really clearly though so that is nice not to have to zoom in on things or try to find the magic spot of getting my phone just close enough
So sad about Dolly. Such a light in this increasingly darkening timeline.
Guys, did you know that raw garlic kills sourdough starter? Well now, so do I...
Yes! It's antimicrobial and antibacterial. One reason it's so good for you. But not for sourdough. The allicin is a bit like sulfurophane in that it's best to do a chop-and-hold method before cooking to give the compound time to form. But, unlike broccoli, I think you only need to wait about 10 minutes, not 40. Or, for sourdough, cook it right away to inhibit the allicin formation.
Question for the job-bullsh*t hivemind: What's a diplomatic way to say "Why the f*ck would you expect something before the due date just because I received it early? The due date is the due date." My scheduled is jam-packed right now and I want to set expections for a project scheduled out to March.
