Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I wonder if I will start cursing in my older age?

I can confidently vouch that on every instance of sharp toe-stubbing pain I've experienced over the last 20 years I have said exactly the same thing: "mutherFUCKER! gottDAMM. FUCK!"

Grey in SF this Friday after three glorious days. I don't mind. It's good for my scarf game.

Lordy, I'm having to read up and understand Finance.

I'm interested in buying a place for Emmett, the market is super heated and going to get worse once the big AI companies (OpenAI and Anthropic are both headquartered in SF) have their IPOs.

So I'm juggling taking the bigass hit of Capital Gains Taxes on selling stocks or finessing something with Securities Backed loans.

Talked to my brother-in-law, TJ about it. He worked in finance (at Fidelity) for many years though he retired before he was 40 because that's a good way to get rich.

Anyway, he suggested a "Buy Borrow Die" strategy and one source says it's only a very complicated strategy for generational wealth among the super rich but other sources (JP Morgan, Fidelity) saying it's viable at much lower levels.

I should talk to megan walker about it.

Anyway, here's the JP Morgan simplified explainer if you're interested: [link]

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Fascinating, in a slightly AU sort of way Chez Moi. Could my body stop coming up with new ways to...kind of make me miserable? Cause I thought I had that parasite thing for a hot minute--I don't think so because of the lack of fever and achiness, etc. But OMG. Literally insult to injury.

I know that's an associated risk but the amount I'd be borrowing vs. my assets is fairly manageable.
