I'm at lunch on the last included meal stop of this tour, and wound up sharing a table with a Moroccan family who are all speaking French, and it is really fucking with my ability to think and respond in Spanish with the staff and tour guides! My poor tired brain doesn't know what language mode to engage so it's just stuck between gears making a terrible grinding noise.

My Spanish is halfway decent within the limits of Tourist Conversations but nowhere near actual fluency and it all goes out the window when I'm tired.
