What kind(s) are they?
The two in the back yard that I didn't know are:

Feeling sad this morning about Jacqueline. Sitting in the window seat, watching the fog trying to sneak in and "the tears come unbidden." Not copious sobs, but just leaking out around the perimeter.

I am in week 3 of tech/early previews of a new musical. This one may have some legs. It's got one song that I fully expect *all* the theatre kids will be singing once there is a recording. Also, J. Harrison Ghee is absolutely fucking amazing (and a lovely human)!
I never thought I would say this, but I MISS TECH. My last show was in 2019. I was so grumpy and I needed to leave, but man I have to find something else!

David I need to get an arborist to tell me what to do with some trees. I keep meaning to look into it and haven’t.
A friend was supposed to arrive v late and now her plane is delayed so she may get here at like 2am. I fully expect the dog will notice and go wild and wake me up, though she has the code to the door.

Got more rain last night, but our basement stayed dry. We had water down there for a few days after the massive amount of rain the week before. Still, a little bit of water in an unfinished basement is nothing compared to what a lot of other people have face with the flooding in the area.
Today is a day to shower David with love while we celebrate his birthday. Happy birthday, Hec. Be kind to yourself today, and every day. May the year ahead bring healing for your heart and soul. Sending much love.

Fun!
Not so much fun was watching the debate last night. The only good part was the cheesy popcorn (Cabot Serious Cheddar, so yum) and wine. My sister always watches these things with me when I am in NY and I had to give her extra hugs before she went home. Ugh. That was a painful performance.
I caught about 2 minutes of the debate and it was awful. Trump forcefully saying crazy shit, Biden talking softly and stumbling over words. Looked like a disaster.
