Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Much love and recovery to the DH, Bev. He's a special guy.

Happy birthday, La Teppe. I shall watch Winter Soldier in your honor because it's the best movie. Or at least one I've watched more than Ocean's 11.

We are meeting a dog tomorrow. Owner has developed debilitating allergies and needs to rehome. I don't know how I feel about a new dog.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Sophia, I'm so glad you're doing better, and I am also fascinated by what Benadryl is the magic cure for (other than your allergic reaction -- I mean the fact that your vision problems and brain fog went away thanks to Benadryl).

Bev, I'm so glad your DH is doing better today!

Sorry to dispute Teppy, but Captain America is the best MCU movie! Winter Soldier has too many destroyed cars of random regular people. It made me anxious.

Sophia, I did actually say to Tim during the scene when the fake cops are pursuing Nick Fury and destroying cars right and left, "Wouldn't you be pissed if you were just going about your day, maybe driving to lunch, and some Hydra assholes destroy your car???"

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I guess I am assuming that the brain fog and vision was somehow due to swelling in my head/eyes possibly due to histamine reaction.... that the benadryl is reducing. I also am no longer full of rage, which is interesting. It is really weird. Every 10 years I have some weird allergy health problem that no one can solve until it just resolves itself or there is something like benadryl or aquaphor. Surely there is something truly wrong, but I can't deal with the doctors sometimes. At least this time I am thin, so I guess I don't have to have everyone telling me it must be my weight, like I did with the full body rash/peeling that I had 10 years ago.

Glad the Benadryl had unforseen positive effects, Sophia!

Happy Birthday Steph!

I have gotten little done today except uploading the promised photos:

I don't generally like action movies because the general disregard for the nromal people just living their lives, but Winter Soldier just seemed to destroy an inordinant number of random people's cars for no reason! Captain American:First Avenger was directed by the same dude who directed The Rocketeer, which I loved. One of the reason's I like Speed was because I thought they took the normal people into account. I also recently watch Terminator, and that also seemed to like the normal people.

Those are so pretty, Matt!

Sophia, that's good news and so glad you're feeling better. Yay, Benadryl. It's weird, but we'll take it.

I tried to go swimmng this morning, forgetting that it's summer, so kids' swim team practices from opening until midday (plus water aerobics in the other lanes). I'm still giving myself points for effort, and I signed up for the water aerobics class starting next week. And I was planning to alternate swimming with treadmill/weights, so that'll work for summer

Our wings are not tired.

But I felt like myself this week and weekend for the first time in so long!

That is such good news, Sophia. Who would have guessed allergies.

Reporting that DH is doing much better today, and thanks for the good wishes.

So good to hear. Continued recovery~ma.

I shall watch Winter Soldier in your honor because it's the best movie.

I am doing this! I only got 2/3 of the way through though because I am unable to stay awake much after 10 PM. So I'll finish today.

We are meeting a dog tomorrow.

Doggo! I hope it is a good fit.

Matt! The lights are awesome, and the flowers lovely. Well done on taking light pictures, I never manage those well.

One of the reason's I like Speed was because I thought they took the normal people into account. I also recently watch Terminator, and that also seemed to like the normal people.

Speed and Terminator and two of my favorites. I think this might be the summer of rewatching faves.

Always Anti-fascist!

how would weight make your skin peel? The same way my disability made me have an eyelid condition I never had till college(developed a sulfa allergy, in non-bigot medicine!) Hope you had a great day, Tep.
