An abundance of virtual hugs sent your way, Nilly. Thanks for checking in.

Sending so much love, Nilly
Hi Nilly—so much love and luck being pushed your way!!! It sounds awful.
Hugs to you and yours, Nilly!
Nilly! So good to see your pixels.
Huh. My JazzFest tickets/wristband is in transit with USPS so I checked the tracking and so far it has gone from NOLA to St Rose to Denver to Houston and back to Denver. Says it’s supposed to get to me on Friday, no idea why it is taking that route. Plenty early, though, which was my only real concern when the website said it would be mailed in early April
Susan, I definitely empathize with Dylan, as my application count reached 207 this week. I have a phone interview today, though, which is nice.
I have no memory of Coda existing, so I’m not surprised that it was from 2021.
It was good to see Shir and Nilly’s pixels.
Coda is the one about the girl who wants to do music and her parents are deaf, yeah? I think I watched it on streaming.
Oh! Ha. I didn't even recognize the name. We watched it streaming, too. I mean, I enjoyed it well enough, but best picture? I dunno. Not that I remember what other contenders were from 2021.
The last few years have been busy for you, Hec, not surprising that, even if you have kept up, things slip through. I'm always a little behind. Nilly!(kind of imagining that as a collective "GILES!" moment. Sometimes Best Picture suffers from trying too hard to, you know, Capture A Moment(TM) which can feel odd enough years later if they capture it, but sometimes they bomb and you get, like, Crash. That and how much movie people like to watch movies about them, which is how you get "La La Land" which I wanted to love but just hated *so much*
