I did some laundry but also realized I paid my one credit card twice and my other one not at all. Oops. (They were very similar amounts). Couldn’t figure out why the one account was texting me all “your bill is due” when I was like “I know I paid that!” Doh!
(Also hi Kat!!)
Hi Kat!
My sister has an A/C issue, and the tech is coming this morning. They just sent her a text with a picture of the woman coming and a full blurb of her history, hobbies, and experience. I hadn't seen that before, but kinda love it.
Part of my Lazy Princess New York Life is that I don't do laundry (very much by design, I pay this stupid rent for a reason), I drop it off. The place next door to me had a flood and is out of commission so now I have to carry my laundry a block and drop it off/pick it up on my way too and from the subway.
I am ashamed about how much this annoys me.
I will note that kat and -t went to dayjobs, and JenP, Laura and myself did not.
So we did things, but you were at your jobs. Jobs are taxing.
A thousand times yes to this.
Also. Hi, kat!
Eh, unexpected laundry excursion that may require snowshoes is worth being annoyed by, Trudy. It's not like realizing that you need to throw a few things into an in-unit washer/dryer.
Hmmm.... there
is
the snowshoes...
And in other news, our threatened email "upgrade" has happened. I can't find a fucking thing. I have to tell the thing I do indeed want to open the item I'm double-clicking to open yet it still doesn't download graphics.
Work from home Wednesday
Internet connection down
One bar on cell phone
At least I can get some laundry done
I'm sensing a laundry theme today.
Foggy morning in SF.
I'm venturing out the door wearing my Ouija Board cardigan and my tarot design scarf, so I'm full of magic and mysteries.
School finally reopened today! (On a 3-hour delay which means each class is about 15 minutes long, but at least A is OUT OF THE HOUSE.)
I thought it was my router or whatever but I finally got enough cell service to open the Xfinity app and got a notification that’s there’s network damage in the area, whatever that means. Well, relieved some of my guilt over not being able to do any work.
The cell service is Verizon and we’ve just always had pretty poor coverage here for whatever reason
Anyway, I had already downloaded the library book I’ve been listening to and occasionally can get through on Slack enough to cancel everything I planned to do today, so all good. Picking up A’s snow days, sort of
