Pantry progress is good, t! Mine usually just involves me going through the pantry and realizing most of it is expired and throwing it out.
I got a real haircut (as opposed to a great cuts “just chop an inch off and make it a vague bob”) last night. It ended up probably a full inch shorter than requested (the front pieces were supposed to be cheekbone length, but ended up more like eye length by the time she was done?) but I guess now I know. I think it’ll eventually grow out to be more what I want.
Bwahaha I have no internet. I’m physically in the office, and mgmt sent an email this morning saying they’d be doing something tomorrow (not today) which will knock out the wi-fi but most laptops are wired (ethernet, I guess?) so should only be an issue for, like, cell phones - especially, for some reason, if you are on Verizon.
So today, my laptop (which is plugged into a dock but says it’s on wifi) has no internet connection. Pretty much all my work is in the cloud. I’m typing this on my (Verizon) phone.
Hilariously, I can post here but I can’t get to Slack
I hate that I have to use ChatGPT for work, but I'm amused that I've trained my instance of it to speak my language:
"Or we could do option D: CHOOSE VIOLENCE".
Happy birthday, Bev!
I am posting this from the adult only hottub at Great Wolf Lodge. Life is good.
Nice! I've looked at GWL before. Curious to hear what you think. I like what I'm hearing so far...
The chlorine and noise levels are intense but the room is big and comfortable and mostly it's indoors and warm here! Ask me on Saturday when the weekend day pass families arrive - we have a cabana reserved so at least there will be a place to hide from all the toddlers.
Uck, some combination of having plunged my bathtub drain clear and the unseasonably warm temperatures yesterday resulted in a flight of fungus/drain flies greeting me when I pulled my shower curtain open this morning. Not how I'd choose to start the day, though at least they're such weak fliers that I was able to get most of them with spray bleach.
Today is the last step to wrap up Tim’s cancer treatment—since the tests were all clear, he can get the port removed! Begone, port!
