Right, what's a little sweater sniffing between sworn enemies?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I find it annoying and very slightly amusing that laying in the MRI tube for 40 minutes made my back spasm. Mmmmmmm, lidocaine patches, my beloved.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Whoever invented lidocaine patches should be canonized. Whether they are Catholic or not. This stuff deserves a St. prefix.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I had the MRI of my hip at 7 this morning and the results by 8:15. In layman’s terms, the results are HOLY SHIT THAT IS FUCKED UP.

Okay, there’s significant cartilage damage and for sure a labral tear with a paralabral cyst full of synovial fluid. Next step is to get in with an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip preservation (ie, arthroscopic repair rather than full joint replacement).

There is such a sense of relief in having diagnostic confirmation that there's a for-real problem that needs intervention, and I'm not just whining about a minor thing.

Punishingly Intricate

Yer hip is certified “ain’t right”, Steph! Hope you can get if fixed quickly! I’m starting the new year with a cold and I am being a whiny baby about it. I just want to be able to sleep, not cough all night.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We've all known each other long enough that we've gone from posting about corsets to posting about MRIs, and I think that's beautiful.

I love you guys!

Now, about my rheumatism and lumbago... 👨‍🦯

The results in MyChart were actually just 10 "scream" emojis. But they got the point across quite well.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If someone starts explaining what corsets are ok to wear for an MRI I might ascend

Well, can’t be a corset with metal boning, obvi.

I am over this whole “working thing”. Surely an hour is plenty. I want to go back to Heated Rivalry some more. Way more fun.

Classic whalebone it is!

Back in the office, and may I just say, having to work to earn a living? Utter bullshit. Where is my previously unknown great-uncle leaving me his vast fortune already.

All the characters in that universe get to play a GAME for a living and then retire in their mid-30s as multi-millionaires! What am I even doing with my life?
