Oh, dear. Reminds me of being in the Philly train station on St. Patrick's Day some years ago. You have my sympathy.
I'm currently freezing in a Cheesecake Factory waiting for a friend for lunch. It's winter. Why cold air blowing? And there are ceiling vents every 4 ft., I swear. No escape. On the bright side, food and a friend. I'll take it.
I’m on a train on my way to a much smaller city where I am told there is a Santa Crawl but we think maybe not until later in the evening. I’m going for tea at the historical society, very different vibe
I'm sitting warm and cozy at home. I am forced to go to a different dog park for the next few months because my usual park is just jammed with events and has inadequate parking. Tennis championships, pickleball, soccer, and the Ice Arena, War Memorial Auditorium, and Parker Playhouse. Pretty much every day for the last couple of weeks, I get there and find people directing traffic to special parking sections. When I can't find a place to park, the dog gets very frustrated with me.
I absolutely love that there is so much happening in my city all the time, but it is at the cost of my practical needs at times. Fortunately, there are other dog parks.
Now I am debating cleaning some section of my terribly neglected condo, or going for a swim. I got my lab test report this morning and everything was just fine, except my cholesterol, which sucks, so changes have to happen. A summer of living in dairy country across the way from fresh farm eggs did not do my arteries any favors.
