A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It seems silly to me when I am logging into my work email account on my phone and the verification thingy sends a notice to my phone to check that it's really me. The call is coming from inside the phone

Recursive! Phone-ception!

I am here to relay important news.

Last night I made the best hot chocolate I've had since I went to Paris in the 80s.

I started with Trader Joe's Sipping Chocolate, then added chocolate sorbet to sweeten it. Nutmeg and Cinnamon, obviously. One shot of brandy. But the kicker, the dealmaker was a dropper full of Cherry Bark Vanilla bitters from Bittercube. (Which was not bitter at all, but sweet and cherry with vanilla.)

As I am fully addicted to chocolate covered cherries, imagine that in hot drink form with a bracing shot of brandy. Dang, it was good!

I sipped it with wonder and satisfaction while I finally got around to watching Arcane which was really really good and gorgeously animated.

Then I looked up League of Legends and realized I don't know shit about gaming culture and esports, because it is SO farking big.

Arcane which was really really good and gorgeously animated.

I WANTED to like it, but the plot was so sadistic I noped out after ep 3.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am always happy to have a nice hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps but really my ideal drinking chocolate is as close as you can get to just a cup of melted dark chocolate and that is drinkable. Added spices, yes. Brandy and sorbet, though, I feel would just dilute without adding anything I want. But cherry bitters, that is intriguing!

Our wings are not tired

When season one of Arcane came out we worked on an immersive experience based on the show out here in LA. It was pretty amazing. I still need to watch the second season.

And, unsurprisingly, I would now like some delicious hot chocolate.

But what I have is TJ's veggie lentil soup, which, while delicious and hot, does not achieve hot chocolate status. It really is good, though. I'd serve it to unsuspecting guests and claim it as my own if the situation ever arose where I'd need to.

I remeber once, at game night, my roommate and I decided on Stouffers lasagne as one of the offerings. I thought it was, you know, obviously Stouffers, but someone complimented me on it, and I think I must have looked like a deer caught in headlights--like, I was definitly not trying to pass it off as homemade, but then I felt slightly bad--like, you're worth a homemade lasagne! This just isn't one! It was funny.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Hot chocolate and coconut rum.

Yeah, Dana? I would give that a try.

Lentil soup sounds really good. I only have beans, which are fine, but definitely not lentils.

Connections: I was pretty sure that the blue answers would be purple. I don't think I am good at that meta-game

And I got the pangrams while thinking "that's not a word but I'll try it just in case" so. I am out of sync with NYTGames today

Can you tell I'm not very interested in working today? SOmeone asked me to switch shifts with them so I'll be out the outlet sale on Friday afternoon instead on Sunday which is nice for my weekend and makes my Friday more varied and interesting but I seem to have jumped ahead to being over all this working-on-the-computer part of my job. Two more days of this, self!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

As I am fully addicted to chocolate covered cherries, imagine that in hot drink form with a bracing shot of brandy. Dang, it was good!

Well, that sounds excellent!

But what I have is TJ's veggie lentil soup

I made corn muffins yesterday, with the intent to have one with split pea soup for dinner, because it was cold and rainy here. Sadly, this is a week where the Zepbound nausea decided to ramp up around 5 pm, so no dinner for me last night. However, it is still cold and grey, and my stomach is back to normal today, so Operation Corn Muffin And Soup will happen today.

And I got the pangrams while thinking "that's not a word but I'll try it just in case"

I got Genius without getting the pangrams. I just went back to look at the letters and I still can't figure out what the pangrams might be.
