Starbucks strike is apparently one do I went to Peet’s for my commute coffee. The nearest Peet’s and the nearest Starbucks are similar distances from my house, but the route to Starbucks feels much easier and they have a drive through, so I do tend to go there more often. Anyway, made conscious effort today. The actual drive to work was pretty bad weather wise and there seemed to have been a crash that happened not long before I crept by with the rest of the traffic. Should have worked from home, but too late for that now. No one crashed into me and I had given myself plenty of time for the drive, so all’s well.
I’m stuck on Connections! I’ve only gotten yellow so far.

Guess I've got to do something else now since Netflix pulled "Archer" off, although the marathon was fun.
Work Nemesis thinks he can weaponize learned helplessness against me, little does he know I am 47 year old with two almost-grown children and no fucks to give.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I'm mostly spending the day catching up on emails and grading quizzes, but I might go see a play this weekend.
Big jolt! Only a 3.6 but the epicenter was less than 2 miles away, not even as far as the interstate. I actually thought maybe we have been struck by lightning at first because it was just one jolt and a loud noise
Heh, we were on a Zoom call and my boss was immediately all "do we need to leave the building?" but no one (most of them were remote) jumped in to support that and we just when on with it. I was checking for confirmation from my tracking apps and not paying attention to the call, of course.
