Stale pill pockets do not sound terribly appealing, it's true. That does seem like a good idea to get him used to them as a treat, though!
I know I've run across it somewhere unexpectedly as well, possibly a couple of places because of course I immediately scrubbed the whole thing from my memory as much as I could (that sounds better than just being forgetful and absent minded, doesn't it?). Stupid zeitgeist or whatever.
Well, you might be able to conceal a pill in something the cat likes. Maybe. A friend once had to give her cat pills and she'd use either the pill pocket or a treat but sometimes the cat would eat the treat from around the pill and leave the (soggy) pill to be cleaned up. Once - my friend swore this really happened - she gave the cat her pill and after consuming the treat, the cat jumped up on my friend's shoulder and spat the (soggy) pill into her shirt pocket.

Yes, that's what my last cat did. Oh well!
Cats are smart. And sneaky. And there's this adoptable cat.
Oh, Pinky. Clearly a very loving cat.
Ah, Holli has responded to the thing:

There's been a lot about William Shatner going into space. A photo of him with a couple of other people who went up with him was (I assume) altered so that his jacket was the gold of his shirt on the show and the others' jackets were red. There's also this.

I saw a post somewhere (probably Tumblr) with a headline that said something like "William Shatner to be sent into space" and the comment under it said "That makes it sound involuntary on Shatner's part."
Ha, I saw the news alert and said to my coworker, "Wow, William Shatner has finally launched into space at age 90," and she immediately said, "He died?!"
