I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Nobody should work off the clock! I know it happens and I've done it on occasion, but to expect it is wage theft.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is the correct answer! If you can't meet your goals on the clock then their goals are exploitive.

Punishingly Intricate

Good lord, no, don't work off the clock!

OK, so I shouldn't be allowed to have carpeting... and I really live it anyway... especially on stairs where I'm constantly going up and down with beverages. Having said that, we rent, so it is my lot at the moment.

Does anyone have opinions on steam cleaning carpet services? Good idea? Just rent my own at the grocery store? Even worth it at all? It's looking pretty rough right about now...

My dad got a handheld carpet stain remover thing a while back, it was marketed for dealing with pet messes but might also be good for beverage spills? Especially on stairs, something smallish to spot clean seems easier.

I am finishing this week still feeling very strongly that I do not know what my job is anymore, so that's nice. Consistent, anyway.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Sophia, a friend if mine who is disabled but still wanted to get involved in something started going to local cemeteries and cleaning old stones—and researching the people. Locals have been really happy with her work here:

My brother is doing okay. It nice that we have people inside keeping an eye on him. The service today was NOT what I would have planned—two hours outside/inside visitation, and a half an hour service inside. The posted “masked optional” instead of required, like I wanted.

Dad could be cremated yet (COVID backlog) so we couldn’t so graveside.

We were masked so I’ll just have to test us all when we get home.

Christopher was harassed for wearing a mask inside to pick up our carry-out pizza for dinner. Is it wrong of me to hope that woman gets it? Ugh.

Back at the hotel with a bottle of wine. And no people but us.

Coding and Sleeping

As someone who has taken out a lot of carpet stains, it should definitely be good for beverage spills. I've taken paint out of the carpet.

A perk of the new job is seeing bug reports titled like this one: 'Cannons not firing players as expected'.

ION, we got a new dog. He's a 10 year old German Shepard mix named 'Odin' who was abandoned by his last owner.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

askye, honey, no. It's illegal not to be paid for hours worked. You can't stop your colleagues from doing it, but don't you start!
