October beach getaway with friends is booked! In the same town where I spent my teenage summers (Bethany Beach, Del.), two streets over from the street we stayed on then, one block from the beach. Not that I'll be sunbathing, but, conveniently, the sunrise is after 7a here in October. Nice!

Ugh. Work is nonsense, all sorts of things going wrong and people responding about the wrong thing or doing things wrong or just requiring a lot of work and people who should know better not doing things they’re supposed to, and a bunch of things I don’t know about that no one else will claim as theirs or say whose it is…TGIF. Though I’m promised to go dancing tonight and all I want is to nap. But I should go dance, I haven’t been in weeks. First though, physical therapy. So I’ll be sore for dancing. Wheeeee.

I feel I need to perform an interpretive dance for the Provost called “My students cannot upload anything to the UHS portal, so that cannot be the instruction I give them!” And possibly go back in time to when I first raised this issue in June. Perhaps interpretive dance will get their attention.
