Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Now tagless for your comfort.

meara, my twin sister has the kid—SHE is vaccinated. But she’s playing peacemaker and trying to tell me not to be upset about this whole thing.

Older sister insists she tested negative before she left—which, FINE. But I think her stepdaughter—the one who lives with Dad isn’t vaccinated either. Which, WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK?

I just hope my brother gets vaccinated while he’s in jail.

It’s a Hoosier Shit Show.

Cashmere, I would be sourcing bone saws and pig farms. Good lord. I'm glad you and your dad seem to be getting through it, though.

Yay for fast, clear mammo results, -t!

I have been having massive insomnia for the past three nights. Now I'm a tad befuzzled. We have gray skies and rain forecast for the whole day, and I'm working from home. Keeping naps at bay will probably be my primary task.

Yay for clear, -t.

Uh, while I was boiling on your behalf, Cash, I forgot to say that I'm sending quick and easy recovery -ma your and your dad's way.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

But she’s playing peacemaker and trying to tell me not to be upset about this whole thing.

FLAMES ON THE SIDE OF MY FACE

Holy fucking shit, Cashmere. Rage is pretty much the only correct response. I got your alibi if you need it.

For real. You were with me the whole time. (3 feet apart, wearing masks, and vaccinated.)

Can I brag about my kid for a minute? Aeryn's teacher does a Question of the Day at the beginning of every class, and Monday's question was "Would you rather time travel 100 years into the past or 100 years into the future?" I heard through another parent in the class that A's answer was 100 years in the future because 100 years in the past she wouldn't be allowed to do anything because she's a girl. And when I asked her what her answer was, she said "But really I just want to stay in the present, what if I went to the future and we hadn't solved global warming yet?"

I am raising one snarky and cynical motherfucker, oh yes I am.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is some well reasoned thinking on Aeryn's part! Well deserved brag

Ooh, smarty pants. Tossing in a little Zen for the final twist.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh Cashmere, I'm so sorry. This is a doozy even for your family which seems to have a real knack for putting you through the ringer.

My best wishes to your father and to you for a speedy recovery.

Day after shingles vaccine #1 report - I feel generally rundown and a little sickly but is that any different from every other day? I can't tell anymore. But boy does my arm hurt! It surprises me anew every time I move it. Way better than getting shingles, of course.
