Sophia, ugh!!!! I feel for you.
Some shit is hitting the fan at work today. Not directly on me and this far I’m not having to do clean up, but it is early yet. I need more coffee.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Thanks so much, Laura!!!
Happy birthday, lisah!
Happy Birthday, lisah!
My bones are also of normal density, I have been informed this morning. Thumbs up. Hey, when you have a hysterectomy at 38, this is rockin' news at 53, just sayin'. Holy shit, that was 15 years ago. Wow.
Happy Birthday lisah!
Woot for normal bones!
Happiest of birthdays, Dear lisah!
Yay for dense bones!
Boo for BS bureaucracies and blame-shifting! (Seriously, my blood pressure was rising just reading that, Sophia. Good luck getting through!)
Good luck with continued splatter-avoidance, msbelle!
Hope the tooth pain is NBD, askye!
Gah I remember why I like working with customers as little as possible. And why I'm happy not being at the pick up counter. Besides the mind numbing boredom of standing there is the mind numbing questions from customers. I kept having to tell people I couldn't check them out or do a return because I had no register.
Or having to explain how buy 1 get 2 free works.
And I had to deal with a snotty woman with a Trump 2020 broach on.
And people complaining we have Christmas stuff up. Next week our full display gets put up. Although some people were happy and bought stuff.
We had another new hire flake out and quit after no showing. A full time person quit to move.
Christmas is going to be rough.
Yikes, askye. Yep, definitely a reason I no longer work in Retail - all the *ick* people.
Did I say that our Outlet Sale that has always started 1 week after Thanksgiving is going to start in October this year? It'll make some things easier internally (getting our inventory back into order before the end of the year for one thing, and having the revenue hit earlier will probably be a good thing) but feels deeply weird. The weather will be completely different! I won't know how to dress - we're also back in the warehouse after two years of renting the old Walmart and having heat so my instinct is to bundle up but that probably won't be necessary. Or will it? I don't know! All my experience both working the sale and coming as a customer before I got hired is out the window for this crucial question. If it's actually hot I will be at a total loss.
