This isn't that big to me considering how I feel about that measure, but my doctor will be super pleased.
Your doctor should listen to the Maintenance Phase podcast! (As should everyone interested in the weight loss industry.)
Looks like my Dad will be getting discharged from the hospital tomorrow and will be moving into inpatient rehab. I'm worried about how anxious he'll be but glad my Mom will get a break from physically taking care of him full time.
I hope your dad benefits from the rehab, and of course that your mom can get some rest.
Timelies all!
Yay for normal bones!
The coworker with car trouble was back at work at his usual time. Good thing, because it was super busy today.(In other words, a typical Wednesday)
Fragment of an Electric Company song: "Happy Birthday, Miss Jones, you sure got nice...bones..." Apropos for good bone density scans, methinks.
I am reading everything and really want to wish Lisah dad~ma, Teppy post dad ~ma that he was reachable with the guns, best wishes to sumi on treatment and general all around ma.
I think work/Covid-19. has broken me. I have spent the past three weeks trying to explain to several different university offices that the students I work with literally cannot upload their vaccination cards to a system that needs your university email account when they do not have university email accounts, while being held accountable for these students being non-compliant even though they were accepted after the Covid-19 vaccine status deadline. So I was between students who got terrifying emails and people who would not supply instructions as to how they could become compliant. With our Dean wanting 100% compliance. The last communication I have from the compliance office is that my students were considered visitors, and I needed to collect the compliance myself, which I did. Then no communication until my folks all got emails that they were being deregistered, even though I had all of their vaccine info and they could not upload it to the central system. Also they were being chastised for not being complaint by August 1st, which was AFTER they were accepted to the program. The mess ended up including the University Provost. I had tried to be proactive and figure out what to tell the students and was told to handle it myself, and then reprimanded for handling it myself.
Jesus, Sophia, how infuriating.
Wow, Sophia, that is terrible
Enraging! I'd been wondering how you and your students were doing, and hoping you hadn't posted an update because it had all worked itself out. I am so sorry it's the complete opposite.
Ugh, Sophia. That is horrible.
That is seriously screwed up Sophia. They are sending you in a loop of hell. A Hell loop of Bureaucracy.
Work was slow and I had to be at the online pick up counter area because we didn't have anyone scheduled. We had a bunch of college students working part time and now they are all back at college and don't work here anymore. We also don't have a lot of people who are trained. I basically have volunteered to work there when needed.
And now one of my lower molars is kind of hurting- not the one I had to have the temp crown on. But it's right in the area where they were working so I don't know if it's just my jaw hurting or something.
