On the lighter side, the robot apocalypse has been delayed. Indefinitely.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Pretty much everything is wrong with people.
The person sent home due to her unvaccinated status and Covid exposure went to Las Vegas. No, she never wears masks.
Ugh, with the people.
In other news that's not really news, I am mammoed and bone densified. Results to follow. Just routine screenings.
Just had a very restrained visit to Trader Joe's. Proud of myself, especially considering how hungry I am. About to be driving home now.
Yes, Trader Joe's when hungry is a very dangerous place indeed.
Also, too many humans suck. I've been trying to be very selective of where I go online and in-person to avoid potentially sucky people. Only glance at FB a couple of times a day to catch up with family stuff. I go here. The world at large, very minimal encounters. I do need to get my nails done so I have been looking at the reviews and noting those that say things like clean and safe.
Eta: In my personal achievement update, I am one-tenth of a pound away from moving from obese to overweight on the BMI chart. This isn't that big to me considering how I feel about that measure, but my doctor will be super pleased.

Right the fuck on! Always nice to have your efforts rewarded.
Weds is the one day of the school week where Matilda gets off early. She's meeting up with her friend Saafiyeh, who she hasn't seen since she got locked out of Middle school in March of 2020, and they will be going back to said Middle School to see the teachers that they didn't get to say goodbye to.
I had a baseline bone density scan on Monday. I got to see a picture of my spine: so cool. Apparently my bone density is currently normal.
And I have now completed 50% of my treatment.
Also, I love that Matilda & her buddy are going to be able to visit & say goodbye to their middle school teachers.
Woo normal bone density!
I'm glad Matilda gets to see her friends and her teachers from what is now way back when.

That is so sweet. Gratifying on both sides I'm sure.
Yay for normal bones and progress in treatment!
Apparently my bone density is currently normal.
Awesome!
And I have now completed 50% of my treatment.
Woo, halfway mark!
Aw, yay, Matilda. That'll be sweet.
Yay normal bones!!
Also I got my covid test back and it was negative, so I probably just am having heartburn and anxiety. Yay? But really yay because I have fun plans this weekend for my birthday and I would’ve had to cancel! I did skip events Monday night and Tuesday night just in case, so that’s a bummer, but better than feeling guilty for spreading to everyone.
Laura go you! I am definitely over that line, and used a measuring tape on myself today and was v depressed by the result. But also not managing to eat right or work out (and working out sucks so much more when you’re doing it with 50 extra pounds!)
