I'd make it as-is, Cindy. It looks like they are supposed to be short and rich, no?
'Bushwhacked'
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yes, Jesse, they're supposed to be really fudgy. I guess I was concerned more about volume because of the lack of nuts.
Topic!Cindy, that recipe is not much different from my family's recipe, baked in an 8x8 pan. When I want a taller brownie, I do a double batch in a 9x9 pan.
Thanks, dcp. I think I'm going to follow the recipe this time and leave the tweaks for another time. That's what I usually do with baking -- try a recipe straight once, before I mess with it.

Yeah, I'd trust them...
So I told my mother it made me feel bad when she said I "won't let her have Christmas," and she was like, "Yeah, when I said that to my friends, they all said you were right." Gee, thanks for saying that to each and every one of your friends!!
This agile nonsense doesn't work for anyone but developers, and even then it's hit or miss.
It's supposed to be better for the end users but I haven't seen it work...of course my client for the last few years did a version of agile I called "agilefall"
it took my mom TEN YEARS to be diagnosed with hypothyroidism (since she has a weird form)
Juliana, would you mind telling me what weird form of hypothyroidism your mom has? I've been fighting multiple doctors about this for 20 years.
I'll check! I can't remember right now, but she'll get back to me tomorrow.
Agile is particularly difficult for tech writers, IME. I don't love having everything dumped on me two weeks before release, but it's not better to be told something is finished and then have it change three times after you've taken screenshots.

I'm pretty sure my mother was saying similar things (not Xmas specific) to my two older cousins (mom's partners in Covid crimes this past summer). Mom finally changed her tune once she realized that one of my cousins was in utter denial about the risks she was taking. I'm glad your mom's friends had your back.
Brownies are in the oven. They have about 15 minutes left. After I buttered the pan, I stupidly laid it on the stovetop, and the butter melted a little from the heat of the pre-heating oven, but I didn't really look at it, until half the batter was already in (and sliding around) the pan.
The worst that can happen is that I'll have some kind of hot chocolate mess. If that's the case, I'll spoon it on some ice cream and call it a day.
Well, it was very lovely to do a Zoom call with Amyth tonight.
I enjoyed seeing your lovely faces and hearing your voices.
Yes. What David just said!
Went to see my parents yesterday to help with computer issues (could not fix them myself, unfortunately). My dad, sadly, is 100% back into the paranoid personality disorder (could hardly had two sentences in a row without hearing about a conspiracy or a person who let him down in his past). It is difficult and heartbreaking to see someone you love retreating back into this shit, especially when it's so hard to get them into therapy in these cases.
