Ha, indeed. I was reminded to go back and check out the cartoon. Reminds me of an old woo woo friend of mine who went into this long explanation about group dreams like the kind you have where people from different times of your life, different places, dead and alive, people you only know from media, all are gathered together for one reason or another. She posited that it was simply a gathering of all these people's subconscious or spirits or some such. Anyway, I smile at the memory of her sincerity in her beliefs.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
The thing with vaccinated people being asymptomatic carriers is very concerning.I'm not freaking out but I did just schedule a test for tomorrow out of an overabundance of caution since I have a dental visit that will lead to dental work on Thursday. I wouldn't for a regular dr appt but there's gonna be a lot of up in my face-ness going on there.
Ugh, askye. That is a lot. And I expect that pee can happen at my job but it's not something most people do.
My doctor tested my antibody level a month after my 2nd vax. I expect he will do it again when I see him in the Fall. If it weren't for the travel stuff I wouldn't worry.
Keep in mind your antibodies aren't really supposed to stay at High Alert forever and ever. Your T-Cells basically "remember" the virus and when it recurs it then generates more antibodies.

If anyone wants a truly fun way to learn about your immune system, watch Cells at Work. Or watch Doctors react to Cells at Work on Youtube. It's pretty amazing.

Fun! Matilda knew of it, but now I'm going to make her watch it.
watch Cells at Work.
Yeesssss!
I may be growing just a bit uncharitable regarding the pandemic situation. Someone was rolling their eyes about Phil Valentine finding a doctor to prescribe ivermectin for him before he went on a ventilator, and I told them to scoff if they wanted but a de-worming treatment might come in quite handy in the near future.

And then some. I have been vocally reminding the dumbass elected officials on my tv screen that they are killing off the idiots who would vote for them. And I don't even feel bad about it. I do feel bad for the children and vulnerable who are infected by the grown ass adults who refuse to use common sense. One of the popular right wing radio hosts, who my brother loved (Dick Farrel), just died a couple weeks after mocking vaccines and masks. Of course my brother won't let this sway him, although he did honestly tell me that I would not be comfortable visiting him in his home. We visited outside.
The statistical difference between the red counties and blue counties across the nation in infections and deaths works in my favor. Damn short sighted on their part.
Gee, I'm just a ray of sunshine this Tuesday morning!
We're in Cape Cod this week, which is having an uptick in cases, although we're not near the part of the Cape that is actually having the uptick. Most of the businesses around here are requiring masks again, and people are truly being assholes about it. They don't have masks with them, they're vaccinated, "can I speak to your manager", etc.
I'm sorry people are being asses. I really feel for people serving the public these days. It has become somehow acceptable to treat people like shit. Do not like.
Enjoy the time in Cape Cod. Is it ltc's birthday this week? Time passes so quickly.
