Health~ma to your dad, Dana.
Congrats on the improved commute, shrift!
Glad the pup’s ok, scrappy.
My team got accepted to present at a major conference in our field! [yay!] it’s a poster presentation that has to be done in person. [not yay] But hey, the conference isn’t for months yet. [maybe yay?] But they need a commitment by next week. [not yay at all] I mean, I get that they need to nail down numbers for all kinds of things, but no one has any idea what’ll be happening with COVID and all by November. So we’ll probably decline with thanks.
Wonderful news, Scrappy!!
Happy House, Scrappy and Spouse!!
Ugh. Looks like a medication of mine increased ten-fold in price and now insurance doesn't appear to be covering it. It's a generic.
I'm going to get him more of them and parcel them out as gifts for as long as possible, because he loves them and, really, what else am I going to get him?
Awww!
Note to self: Do not eat the poisoned mice.

Boo! Healthcare: we're doing it wrong.

Good grief!!! Is there another similar one they do cover? Or can your doctor contact them and ask for preapproval? If not, try the manufacturer or good rx?
Good grief, Gud. It's all so effing frustrating with drugs.
I fucked things up last night. I'm just a terrible, useless person. Saying this here is probably another example of that. I just shouldn't talk to anyone. Not sure how to make the stress stop.
That is awful, Gud. My mom went through this with one of her drugs. Went up 10x, and it was an ancient widely used generic drug. Healthcare needs to be fixed, but I am afraid it has fallen down the priority list. Ugh.
In much happier news, today is Fred Pete's birthday. Haven't seen him in far too long, but sincerely hope he is having a wonderful day.
