Hi!! First of all, thank you so much for the healing vibes, prayers, light, and love - I've been feeling it and it's helped as it always has for the past 20-some years.
Also, thank you for the donations and gifts. It was incredible to have the resources to order a bunch of things I needed to get for home to make things easier (wedge for my bed, journal and BPC for home/car, shower accessories, etc).
I got home yesterday and it's been a fantastic 36 hours in my own house, with my own shit, and sleeping with no vitals checks every two hours.
I've been EXCEPTIONALLY LUCKY to have amazing medical professionals, friends, family ... everything over the past week ... that have come out to help and finish mowing and take care of the animals and cutting up fruit and taking my car to the tire place.
Prognosis is good; Two AVM evacuated about a week apart. Seems circumstantial with a little bit of heredity thrown in. I've been over a week without nicotine and have cut down on a lot of caffeine. Taking my BP every 4-6 hours and keeping photos of each reading for my many, many new doctor's appointments. Two new BP meds plus baby aspirin and some Tramadol while the pain is still pretty much always there.
Em was a total rock star. She and Joe filled in some blanks for me this morning and I learned that she had to give me CPR because I had some foaming at the mouth and was primarily unresponsive. My sweet, sensitize, amazing girl had to give her mommy mouth to mouth. What kind of 2021 nonsense is THAT?!?!?
So, yeah. Been an interesting week. SMDH (though not to roughly).

Today is the birthday of the beloved but not seen often enough vw bug. I hope she is being pampered appropriately by those around her. Have to pop over to FB to send wishes where she is more likely to find them.

OK, this is a real question -- I'm not panicking or anything even close to it, but -- I got Pfizer, which I'm reading is less effective against getting the Delta variant, though still likely keeps it from killing you. I'm good with that, and I will be masking up more again.
Here's the question: does doubling up and seeking out the Moderna vax now have any validity to it as further protection? Or is that just dumb and showing a lack of understanding of how vaxes work? I don't really know where to find info. on that or if it's even worth pursuing. Thoughts?
ETA: Well, actually, I have an appt. with a new PCP next week, so I can ask her, of course. Just curious if I'm alone in wondering.
