I would be so impressed if they officially called them the Cleveland Guardians of Transportation. That's a heck of a name
That would be cool. Still weird, but the cool kind of weird, which I can get behind.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Exactly
Work related - I really dislike people passing the buck. Especially when they are leadership.
My power just went out, so work will not be happening for a while. Per the PG&E outage map, the office is also without power, although they have backup
And when the office sent out their "we have power again email" I realized I did to. I was expecting to hear something turn back on when I got electricity again, but apparently not.
Timelies all!
Waiting for dinner to arrive.(The traditional Friday night dinner-delivery from the Chinese place we like)
Went bowling with my son and his girlfriend today on their day off. FINALLY got a solid commitment from both of them to get vaccinated next week. They just have to arrange schedules at their employers, which will be easy since their employers want them jabbed too. Phew, that took some work but I am so relieved. Their area is not at all a hot spot, but like many places on the rise. An average of 6 cases per day were reported in Oneida County, a 121 percent increase from the average two weeks ago.
Phew. Good job, Laura.
They weren't in the category of never vaxers, more just not getting around to it and fearful of side effects. Particularly since their city has had low cases. They both said if they were still in Florida they would have long ago.
Back to feeling like myself.
Last night I paid credit cards, ran their numbers to see current debt situation. Cancelled one credit card and took first steps to cancel another (I have a recurring charge on it I need to move.) Three $1000+ vet visits, $3000+ car bill, $4000+ state taxes, and then the new car for E threw off my debt free plan.
