Timelies all!

We took Gary's mom out for a belated birthday dinner. It ended up being a bit of a fustercluck. Even though she is vaccinated, Gary's mom refuses to eat inside a restaurant. Which became a problem when it began raining hard, with serious winds.( we were under a large umbrella, but said wind blew the rain sideways) Once the rain died down, and the table and chairs were dried off, we got our food. Except the side dish I ordered. I asked several times for it, and got told by different servers that they would go check on it....and nothing. Eventually I got it, but it was not a great thing. Also, Mr. S was being very fidgety.

I made Swiss meringue buttercream the other day. I was not all that impressed but I had leftover egg yolks. So last night I made lemon curd. And on my English muffin this morning? Omnomnom!

I hadn’t mentioned anything here, but my itoungest cousin had open heart surgery today and has come out of it well. They had to do less than they originally thought. Yay!!!
