Got in to work today and the internet was out as well as Outlook. Our phones have been out for weeks for some reason. Went to the bathroom and there was a bit of a flood situation. Isn't it great that I have to be in the office rather than comfortably working from home? Sheesh!
P.S. The internet issue has been fixed, so at least I am back here.
Holy shit you guys the Canadian border will be open to vaccinated travelers (and unvaccinated minors traveling with a vaccinated guardian) on August 9th.
I am shaking with relief, I was so prepared to never see my house again.
Ugh. My daughter's wedding is taking place in my parent's backyard. My parents want to everyone who is unvaccinated to wear masks. The groom's family is taking this very badly to the point of some relatives refusing to come. All of this has my daughter very upset. I don't have a solution which is making me feel like a big failure, though that aspect isn't very important.

I was shocked to hear about Aimee. I'm glad she is doing well. When I first saw vw's post Bout the food on FB my heart stopped because of what my cousin went through.
A lot of changes at work and my team lead told me he is leaving, well a promotion. Kind of . Our old store manager ( who is now a regional al manager)has been trying to get him to take a position in Mississippi but he had been hesitant and then I guess he decided to apply,, got an interview and is taking it. It's more money. Like our store tried to counter offer but our old manager played hardball and there was no way they could match
