Timelies all!
Well, it's Friday, for what that's worth.

Yeah, I just had another friend (this one in Seattle) say she got it despite being vaccinated (though so far the rest of her family hasn’t?). So def consider a test msbelle!
FedEx just delivered my meds refill. I had taken my last remaining dose this morning.
There was a hitch in the regular refill order that was made on Monday - the specialty pharmacy tried to order the 500mg pills instead of the usual 250mg pills (dose is 1000mg, I would be okay with either) and insurance rejected. I got the call on Wednesday, the corrected order got processed yesterday, refill left Indianapolis last night.
Huge sigh of relief. Not going to miss any doses.
Whew! I'm glad that worked out but how scary to be so close to running out!
Argh. US healthcare system. Ugh.
I've skipped about 250 posts, but felt the need to share this article about a U.S. resident with monkeypox. [link]
I hope everyone is well.
Matt, I'm happy to have seen your good news about your mom.
Test tomorrow at 11:50am.
Monkeypox! Nobody needs that!
Monkey pox!!
Also hate insurance refill nonsense. Also annoyed at my doctors office that tends to write scripts for a few months at a time. I don’t necessarily have to go back in to get a refill, so why??
That kind of shit drives me nuts with insurance. We'll cover the 50mg but not the 100mg so instead of two 100 you have to take four 50 and you also must get it filled in 90-day supplies, so just go to the pharmacy and they'll give you a big bucket of pills.
I finally have a CT (no contrast) scheduled for tomorrow.CT of head completed, read, results given to my Dr and they called saying everything looks okay before I even was finished driving home. I don't live right by good medicine so it took me an hour to get home but that's super fast results.
Argh. US healthcare system. Ugh.Yep.
a U.S. resident with monkeypox. [link]That was inevitable. And I've clearly gotten behind in my Scary Things That Will Kill You PROmed newsletter because this was the first I've heard of it.
