Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yep, my mom said that to me so often. She basically died of old age at 95 so she did something right.
He seems like a really good guy, so I'm pretty happy about it. She certainly seems to be happy which is all that really matters.
Yay!
Aw, Venerable Hecubot, that sounds like a Futurama character
Happiest of birthdays to The Venerable Hecubot!
Gud, glad to see your pixels!
After all of the adulting I accomplished this weekend, I stayed up way too late last night to finish a book and now I feel like I'm dying of the tired.
What book?
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. I did that thing where I was all, "Oh, I only have X more pages left so I should just keep going."
The bane of sleep.
Happy birthday to our own Hecubot!
I had the third - and, seemingly, final - book in K.J. Charles Will Darling series, so I stayed up finishing it. Then, OF COURSE, I had to go back and re-read the previous two, so ... there isn't enough coffee.
And then there's this. I keep telling people life is stranger than anything I could make up.
I spent all yesterday reading The Witness for the Dead which is not divided into chapters so it's really hard to just stop reading. But I got to sleep at my usual time, just didn't get anything done during the day. Which is not great, but was a mostly conscious choice.
Yes, I really like when the book is broken into nice small chapters so that the I'll just finish this chapter objective works. My general rule is when my Nook drops from my hands 3 times I give up and go to sleep.
